Carpet Cleaning Help

A good clean look and feel is something that every carpet cleaner strives for. However, only the best cleaners can truly make a carpet look like new. Here is a small list of carpet cleaning requirements that I have for my own home and that you can institute in yours:

1. Hire Chem-Dry if you can - I live in Southern California, and I truly believe that Orange County Chem Dry is the best clean you can get for your carpets. They don’t use too much water, so your carpets don’t run the risk of getting moldy. I love that.

2. Always ask about the cleaning products – Some carpet cleaning companies use harsh chemicals to get tough stains out of your carpets. But natural cleaners and “green” cleaners work just as well and won’t be toxic for your family and pets.

3. Catch stains early – The second you see a stain, it’s time to get it out. If you don’t try to get a stain out immediately, it often times won’t come out. The best option is to add a tiny amount of dish soap to some water and dab the stain. This way it won’t spread.

I know it’s a small list, but I believe that these three things can save your carpets from a lot of mess.
